2024 Only Always

Made in a style that meets the requirements for an Austrian Gemischter satz ("mixed set"), Only Always is a blend of Auxerrois, Riesling, and Gewurztraminer sourced from Sunnyside Vineyard. Auxerrois and Gewurztraminer were picked and pressed together and racked into half-filled barrels. Riesling came along a few weeks later (also direct-pressed and used to top up the half-fills so all the barrels contained a mélange of all three. We used a combination of neutral French and newer Oregon oak barrels, in which the wine was allowed to spontaneously ferment (primary and secondary) for ten months.
